WE ENCOURAGE CHILDREN TO COME DRESSED IN THEIR WORLD BOOK DAY OUTFIT AS THERE ARE SPOT PRIZES TO BE WON ON THE DAY FOR BEST DRESSED, PLUS QUIZZES AND COMPETITIONS!

Book workshops
11.15am to 11.45am- For children aged approx 3-7yrs come and join in this activity workshop where our award winning Author Charlotte will read ‘Time for Bed, Sleepyhead! and children will be able to make a picture of the sun to take home with them. 11.45am to 12.15pm- Mark Horsborgh is the author of Tales of Walcombe Bay series books and will be reading from one of his seaside books- ‘Seymour the Sandy Bay Ferry’ - some come and join Mark and enjoy our storytelling workshop. 12.15pm to 1pm - For children aged 8+- come and enjoy a FREE 45 minute activity workshop based on Charlotte’s first Twigs books (Broken Twigs: Farewell to Faerie Forest. Charlotte will read from the book and children will be challenged to predict which creature is following Twigs, based on the information Charlotte has given.
11.00am to 3.00pm - Adult Book Author- Sarah Colliver will be available to chat to about her exciting range of fast paced thriller books including ‘In Deep,’ ‘Deeper Still’ and ‘We Close Our Eyes’ - For more information visit Sarah Colliver Writing

Do you have any unwanted pre-loved children's or adults books that you would be happy to donate for our event?
If so, please bring them in to our drop-off point (basket) next to Wilko and the escalator in Maylord Orchards indoor atrium
Books will be displayed at the event for people to take away FREE . We are supporting Midlands Air Ambulance Charity and therefore voluntary donations would be most welcome.
